Never thought I’d see the day when Skin Diamond was second best in a beauty pageant. Seems implausible for one of the sexiest (and coolest) women I’ve ever met. Yet Penthouse Magazine named Skin their 2015 Penthouse Pet of the Year Runner-Up. No disrespect to Layla Sin, the Israeli babe who won Pet of the Year honors. She’s aight… but she’s no Skin Diamond.
I could offer my theory as to why Skin didn’t get top honors but I’d be accused of “race baiting,” whatever the hell that means. Besides, being a Penthouse Pet in any capacity is an honor unto itself. So congratulations to Skin on her latest accomplishment and I’ll share a few images from her Josephine Baker-themed pictorial.

Here’s the word from Penthouse Magazine itself…
New York, NY – The coveted title of 2015 Penthouse Pet of the Year Runner-Up is being bestowed to the sexy and stylish Skin Diamond. In honor of such revelry, Penthouse Magazine is delivering an all-new pictorial of Diamond in the current April 2015 issue of the magazine.
Skin Diamond hails originally from Dunfermline, Scotland, where she studied acting. Diamond’s cover and layout were inspired by the great Josephine Baker. “I was so excited about the Josephine Baker theme for this shoot,” says Diamond. “She’s such an inspiration. She literally paved the way for women of color during a time, the 1920s, when they were not considered beautifully captivating or sexy to the general white population.”
“Skin Diamond first appeared in Penthouse in February 2013, and has appeared in numerous scenes for our website, Penthouse.com. She was at the top of our list of “Pets” who embody our brand and the quality of talent that we continue to showcase worldwide,” says Kelly Holland, Managing Director of Penthouse Entertainment. “We are delighted to both welcome back the Scottish beauty and to make her a Penthouse Pet of the Year Runner-Up.”
Penthouse will be announcing the Pet of the Year 2015 in Cannes this week.

By the way, the last pic shows Skin Diamond with THE Penthouse Pet of the Year, Layla Sin. Like I said, Layla’s no slouch… but better than Skin Diamond???!!!
